How We Build
The Process
Your Brief
Tell us the character, the era, the reference image. Nothing is too specific. We've built from a 1944 photograph and a 14th-century illuminated manuscript.
Design & Pattern
We draft the pattern around your exact measurements. Calf circumference, instep, foot length, arch height. Every last is unique to your anatomy.
Hand Cutting
Leather selected from full-grain hides, marked, and cut by hand. No laser cutter, no die press. This part requires a craftsman.
Lasting & Construction
40+ hours of shaping, stitching, and assembly. The leather is pulled over the last, hammered flat, and hand-welted. Built to be worn, not displayed.
Finishing
Edge work, burnishing, hardware fitting, final polish. The details most brands skip because they cost time — we do them because they define the boot.
